We Keep
Your name, email address, and mailing address if you give it to us.
We Keep Briefly
Your IP address at times, like when you make a purchase or click an email from us.
We Never Store
Payment card or bank details. We don't sell your information.
Araelium (“we,” “us”) makes Mac software including Querious, Screenflick, and DMG Canvas. This page covers this website and the emails we send. We collect no other personal information.
What We Collect
| Information | When and Why |
|---|---|
| Name, email address, mailing address | You give us these when you buy a license, create an account, or sign up for our newsletter. We use them to deliver your purchase, send receipts and license information, provide support, and send announcement emails later on. |
| IP address | We record it when you click a link in an email from us, and use it to estimate your approximate location (country and city). Why? Mostly because it's fun to see how global our user are! After 90 days we automatically clear that out. |
What We Don't Collect
We don't store your payment card or bank details. Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, under Stripe's privacy policy. We don't collect any other personal information.
Is Your Data Shared?
We never sell your information or share it for advertising. The only times your data is used with others is to do the basics:
- Stripe handles payments.
- Amazon SES delivers our email.
- Google Analytics counts visits to this website.
Your Choices
- Every announcement/newsletter email we send has an unsubscribe link.
- You can ask us to show, correct, or delete the information we have about you by contacting us. We need to keep purchase records to meet legal and tax requirements (and that's pretty much all we've got!).
Our Apps and Services
Each product has its own license agreement and, where relevant, privacy terms covering what the app itself does with your data. If one of them conflicts with this page about that product, the product's terms apply.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
